At Alexanderplatz, climate ambassadors from all over the world will open their branches on two days in the broadcasting radius of the World Time Clock. They will talk about their life stories and countries of origin, their attitudes and actions and lay out their own climate maps across the expansive square.The theatrical city walk in the middle of the consumer zone on Alexanderplatz questions economic activity based on the logic of exploitation and increase. Can global climate justice be achieved? A search for unifying goals in dialog - and for urgently needed transformation within walking distance.
For Fluchtpunkt: Alexanderplatz, Lajos Talamonti collaborates with the association "KlimaGesichter: UfU" and gathers diverse perspectives and first-hand reports on one of the most virulent challenges of our time. The topic of climate justice brings together the tasks of the present: climate policy, climate flight, technological transformation, distribution issues and the balance between humans and nature on a planetary scale.
