Italian restaurants in Berlin

This is not only a kitchen classic, but a real favourite of the gastronomic scene: the Italian cuisine
For breakfast the Italian of the bar goes for an espresso and or a Tramezzini, Cornetto or Frittata. In the evening you visit the bar to have a drink.
A trattoria may simply be in the ambience, but in terms of food, quality and taste you can expect a lot from it. Among the most popular dishes in the Trattoria: Lasagne, canelloni, pasta, risotto in different variations, calamari and mussels.
Traditionally, pizza is only served in the pizzeria, in the wake of culinary globalization more and more restaurants are offering this favorite dish and already at lunchtime. One visits an Osteria in the first place, in order to drink a good wine and to eat something besides. Don't be fooled by this extremely Italian classification: the range of food can be quite extensive and delicious! You may find wild boar, oxtail, veal liver on the menu. A visit to Ristorante means white tablecloths, elegant interiors, chic waiters and cloth napkins - grandezza italiana. The Italian dines in the Ristorante on special occasions and then well dressed, in at least four courses from antipasti, primi piatti, secondi piatti to dolci e cafe. 
In the numerous Italian restaurants and pubs in Berlin, the classifications mix somewhat and are a little less strict to consider. Often an actual Trattoria or Osteria is called Ristorante with us. But of course you will also find Italian restaurants the top class in our city.
