The Czech Symphony Orchestra Prague & Coro di Praga perform at the Philharmonie Berlin.

The Czech Symphony Orchestra Prague will present two masterful, fateful works on the stage of Berlin's Philharmonie on Death Sunday: the moving "Requiem in D Minor" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the powerful "Fate Symphony" No. 5 by Ludwig van Beethoven.

Mozart's Requiem is a choral masterpiece whose genesis is shrouded in mystery - a history that makes the piece all the more fascinating and emotionally stirring. Ludwig van Beethoven's 5th Symphony, in C minor, is perhaps the most famous symphony in music history, not least because of the first four notes - about which Beethoven himself is said to have said, "Thus fate knocks at the gate."

Conduction: Martin Peschik
Soprano: Monika Brychtová
Alto: Hana Dobesová
Tenor: Josef Moravec
Bass: Ivo Hrachovec
