Andrej Hermlin and his Swing Dance Orchestra!
This program pays tribute to never-forgotten artists of the golden era at the highest level. With "Best of Swing", the Swing Dance Orchestra presents the hits of the great orchestras of the 1930s and early 40s in original arrangements such as Glenn Miller's "Chattanooga Choo Choo", Cab Calloway's "Minnie The Moocher", Count Basie's "Sent For You", Artie Shaw's "Begin The Beguine" or Benny Goodman's "Sing Sing Sing".
In addition to these melodies, which are still popular today, "Best of Swing" will also feature some lesser-known, unusual arrangements - the Swing Dance Orchestra is always good for a surprise! But this much is certain: "Best of Swing" - the successful concert program by Andrej Hermlin and his orchestra is THE authentic swing concert event in a time of growing swing enthusiasm! The program features singer Rachel Hermlin and singer and drummer David Hermlin.
