Andrej Hermlin and his Swing Dance Orchestra!
Andrej Hermlin and his Swing Dance Orchestra have created a wonderful, romantic Christmas revue with their program "Christmas in Swing" that is unparalleled in this country. Famous American Christmas melodies are played in original arrangements from the 1930s, 40s and 50s - authentically, as you would expect from this orchestra.
Look forward to soloists Rachel and David Hermlin and melodies such as "Winter Wonderland", "Let It Snow", "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas", "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" and, of course, "White Christmas". One of the highlights of this concert is undoubtedly "Jingle Bells" in a spectacular original arrangement by the Glenn Miller Band. "Christmas in Swing" is a revue - with snow (which has unfortunately become rare in our times), lighting effects, a sleigh - and of course the only true and real Santa Claus.
