A play and object theater for children aged 2-4.
The stage is a studio. An easel, painting utensils and picture frames are standing around. An artist paints a fish on a canvas. It jumps out of the picture and comes to life. The fish demands water. The painter makes it rain on the canvas. The result is a small pond. Now she paints even more fish. And because the pond is getting too small, she makes it rain even more. The result is a lake. But because the fish can't get enough, the whole studio is flooded. Now the fish swim into the streets and past the houses and experience the strange activities of people. We want to try that too, the fish think and imitate the strange activities of the people.
With this piece, the artists want to stimulate children's artistic creativity. They experience how fantastic stories emerge from small, unintentional doodles.

The Flying Theater is a puppet theater in Kreuzberg and offers family and evening performances, a program for daycare centers and schools, theater educational workshops, and guest performances by theater/dance/music groups. In its own productions, multimedia forms such as acting, figure and object theater, projections and live music are used. The theater has been awarded the IKARUS several times and enjoys great popularity.
