Mediterranean food in Berlin

Mediterranean cuisine is to be equated with Mediterranean cuisine and refers to the food culture of the countries around the Mediterranean Sea. The Mediterranean countries that characterise this cuisine include Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Morocco, Croatia, Cyprus, Southern France, Turkey, Albania and Malta.
One can already assume on the basis of the participating countries that the regional cuisine differs significantly. But the typical dishes of the country are almost identical, because in the Mediterranean countries the same products are preferred for food preparation. For light and digestible dishes, use plenty of fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, courgettes, aubergines, peppers, fennel and salads as well as garlic and onions. The dishes are preferably seasoned with rosemary, basil, coriander, anise, oregano, fennel and sage. Mediterranean cuisine uses almost exclusively olive oil for frying and dressing. All states serve fresh fish and seafood in many varieties and serve white bread with the main courses.
Red and white wine play a much more important role than beer, red wine is usually also preferred for eating.
