Japanese food in Berlin

Japan is known as the land of the rising sun. The majority of the country's population lives on the four main islands and 99% of the population is Japanese. This keeps the external influence of immigrants on food culture at a low level. The Japanese cuisine  concentrates on fresh and seasonal ingredients of the highest quality. The carefully prepared dishes are artfully and almost ceremonially presented in the restaurants.
Japanese cuisine is considered very low in fat and high in quality and is therefore one of the healthiest cuisines in the world. The products have their own taste and are not falsified by unnecessary seasoning and the addition of fat and oil. In contrast to the Asian cuisine of the mainland, Japanese dishes are mildly spiced and easily digestible.
Rice is the staple food of the Japanese and is an essential component of every meal. Japanese noodles such as Udon and Soba are also very popular and are fried or served as a side dish with soup. Due to its geographical location, fish and seafood are very often on the menu in Japan. A specialty are dishes with sea plants such as algae or sea cucumbers.
Seasoned is salt, soy sauce, miso, mirin or sugar, for marinating meat, vegetables or fish Teriyaki sauce is used.
Traditionally, Japanese dishes are rarely cooked, but only cooked briefly, eaten whole raw (fish, sushi) or pickled in brine.
