Alexey Kochetkov, better known as Aletchko, "The Fiddler of Berlin", has discovered his penchant for Middle Eastern music in Israel. The "Berlin Oriental Group" is one of the spectacular multicultural music projects of the exceptional Russian musician.
They choose oriental music as their source of inspiration and have a wide repertoire ranging from classical Arabic pieces to modern Mediterranean melodies.
The different cultural backgrounds of the individual musicians in this group create an enormous richness of facets in their sounds. The mixture of modern and traditional influences makes their music special.
