Volker Meyer-Dabisch has been on the road with CAVEMAN for 10 years and has now delighted at least 250,000 spectators. Playing on stage CAVEMAN he asked himself again and again what actually happens when this guy has children, Volker Meyer-Dabisch's answer to this question is: SUPERDADDY.

A multifunctional dad who tries to do everything right, always fails grandiosely but also achieves spectacular successes. With Volker Meyer-Dabisch, we storm through a father biography of a special kind: a father who is committed, one who gives everything. Brave as death, he throws himself into the adventure of an unplanned home birth, armed with nothing but a handicrafts scissors, ice cold he plans his son's child's birthday, only to almost perish in the battle of the 14 crazy best friends of Lukas. Men's friendships are there like lonely islands in storm-tossed seas, precious like uncut diamonds, whose last retreat room consists of a converted broom closet or a garage pimped to the men's rest room.

An evening that can ask questions about the role of the father/man in today's society, that tries to fathom out why fewer and fewer boys get the gymnasium recommendation, that gives room for questions and discussions from the audience, Volker Meyer-Dabisch regards the audience as his playing partner, no superdaddy performance is exactly the same as the other, spontaneous remarks are added, new texts and stories tried out, stand up as it should be, authentic, genuine, funny and not always perfectly polished.
