The Grande Dame des Chanson presents her great repertoire in the Ernst-Reuter-Saal!

Katja Ebstein - the grande dame of chanson, European Song Contest icon and audience favourite. She has released songs that have reached the highest class goal on her terrain - they became evergreens. She was very quick to interpret international song poets such as Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, Leonhard Cohen and Stevie Wonder in German.

She has sung the great musical and film tunes, made television and played the leading roles in plays. In her programme "Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow" Katja Ebstein now ranges from her favourite songs from her musical successes "Porgy and Bess", "Evita" to hits such as "Wunder gibt es immer wieder", "Theater, Theater" or "Dann heirat´ doch dein Büro".

The programme combines poetry, strong melodies, sophisticated ballads, poetic chansons and musical catchy tunes to create an extraordinary concert experience.

Reinickendorf Classics is an annual cultural event rich in tradition with a focus on classical music. With around 50 events between October and April, this event takes place in various venues. Already at the end of the 40's until the beginning of the 50's a lively concert life developed in Reinickendorf in the auditoriums of the Reinickendorf schools, which is enjoying increasing popularity among the visitors.
