WELTKONZERTE: Show de Tango Argentino - in the Passionskirche

Tango - this is closely entwined passion, elegance and a danced attitude to life. Pablo and Ludmila bring a new, fresh impetus to this 130-year-old tradition. Both are not only passionate tango dancers but also trained musicians who have a special feeling for rhythm, melodies and sound of the individual instruments. They bring this feeling for music into their dance and develop their own movement patterns. The two dancers will be accompanied by the Cuarteto Rotterdam.

The classical formation of the quartet with bandoneón, violin, piano and double bass promises a sound experience that moves between tradition and modernity. With its creativity, fantasy and experience, the small tango orchestra conjures up a tango world for all kinds of emotions on stage.

Pablo and Ludmila are professional musicians and tango dancers. They studied music at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Austria and tango in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At selected shows the two enrich their dance show with musical excursions for piano and C violin. In October 2013 Pablo and Ludmila won first prize and Viewers' Choice Award at the International Open Tango Salon Championship in Budapest, Hungary. The dance couple has already performed in Chile, Argentina, USA, Canada, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
