Ratskeller Reinickendorf: Ente Satt

The brunch is unfortunately not recommendable here, because no drinks are included and the coffee is very expensive.
But the location itself is beautiful

We registered for the brunch on the really good side on Sunday, but shortly after we got the news that there is no brunch on this day. Would have been nicer, if no registration over Internet would have been possible for this day

The restaurant nice, the service nice; but the food not so good and the drinks have to be paid separately and are not exactly cheap.

You can forget the Sunday brunch, but the Scampis on Thursday are really great. Very tasty, beautifully arranged and really to eat full. Great!

We were also there for the Sunday brunch, a brunch also includes warm food, these were not available, one can better say a big breakfast.
For 14,90€ an impudence! Coffee must be paid additionally with approx. 3,20€ per cup. We had to wait forever for the bill. We had previously reserved via the Get2 page. But in the Ratskeller, no one knew.

Very bad brunch. not recommendable

We were there to eat our fill of duck and were thrilled. The main room of the Ratskeller is rustic and cosy. A baby chair was provided without any problems. The duck was super tasty, as well as dumplings, sauce and red cabbage. In addition, the very friendly service personnel is to be emphasized. Let's hope it stays at this level, because we'll be happy to come back.

We were at the 14.09.2014 to the Brunch and that was simply super at that there is nothing to criticize. The cold and warm buffet was simply great and very extensive. Of course, one should not forget the dessert buffet, the only thing one should forget on this day is the calories count.
Thanks again for the nice operation,. Anyway, it wasn't the last time we were there.

We were at the brunch on 22.06. and were rather disappointed. I just have to say if you charge 14.90€ for the brunch without drinks then I expect a first class brunch. But I have to say there are far better ones in Berlin that are cheaper.
But the staff is very friendly and you got everything when you asked for it.
There were simply many small things missing, such as serving on the table or at the buffet cutlery to open. The food was so far good but nothing special neither at the warm nor at the cold buffet and often it took a long time to refill. This may have been because the cook was apparently alone in the kitchen and always had to run back and forth between the kitchen and the buffet.
Everything in all was ok with the Get2card o.k. but as a full paying I would have been really angry. For this price they just have to get better I think.

Food quality very moderate, although the products used are good (more reminiscent of hospital food). Dessert very manageable.
For a (not even dense) pot of coffee, which is a matter of course at a brunch, you pay almost 11 €. This means that the reduction in payment intended with the G2 card is already exhausted.

So finger off

We had brunch at the Ratskeller Reinickendorf on 5.1.14. Since we don't want to add to the bonus reservation
had reserved by telephone, we had to look for a place for us in the half-empty restaurant. We were put in the empty rustic parlour. Later a group joined the group. The buffet was set up in the mirrored hall opposite (nicely covered with white table linen and chair covers), where the other guests also sat. The buffet wasn't a big hit. Length (according to own specification 14 m) is not everything. The smoked fish and the cheese plate looked as if they had already had the best times behind them. The fish was dry and firm. The boiled egg was clearly too short, the protein was still clear and liquid. The fried egg is prepared at the buffet, that was fine. The little buns were delicious. The warm meals, which are served from 11.00 a.m., reminded a little of the use of leftovers (goose goulash) or canteen, whereby the chicken was very tender and therefore a highlight on this day. To try it out with get2 plus drinks it was ok. We will probably not recommend the Ratskeller to friends or come back.

Even if the reservation through Get2 didn't want to go, it didn't stop us. A telephone number was quickly determined and the reservation could be made. We were 6 with a Get2 card, which I registered in advance. We were there on time, but were able to take a seat and order drinks. The service was good and did not take too long, although the store was completely full. But now to the important one, the buffet:

There were various rolls, toppings (cheese, sausage), jams, cornflakes and yoghurts. In addition there were freshly roasted eggs and bacon slices from a cook standing at the buffet. There was scramble and antipasti. Around 11:30 a.m. the warm dishes were served up, including goose legs, goulash soup, chicken fricasse with rice, rosemary potatoes, vegetables and more, but then I was so tired that I was no longer interested in anything...until then fresh crepes were made on the spot.

Really very recommendable, the drink prices were a little too expensive for me...a small coffee 2,60 EUR I think, but for that there are no deductions from me.

Who can and wants good and lots of food, I'm just right here, the 15 EUR is all worth it!!!
