Komödie am Kurfürstendamm: Dracula – Bloody Beginners

Komödie im Ernst-Reuter-Saal, Eichborndamm 213, 13437 Berlin, Reinickendorf

2-for-1 Tickets When: October 2026

At the Komödie am Kurfürstendamm in the Ernst-Reuter Hall

The world is going to hell. So is Dracula. The Prince of Darkness has burnout. And it gets even worse: his servant is now a vegetarian, and the blood of the living tastes more and more like glyphosate. Eternal youth? Fake news! "Dracula – Bloody Beginners,” the new production by Komödie am Kurfürstendamm, is a hellishly funny trip somewhere between "Dance of the Vampires” and "Rocky Horror,” between a bloodsucker farce and a political nightmare.

What happens when digital natives encounter 2,500 years of boredom? When horror suddenly loses its bite? Nelly and Mark really just want to explore Romania for a bit—but despite Google Maps, they end up in the wrong place: Dracula’s castle. But 2,500 years of eternity would make even the most hardened bloodsuckers pale. And they bear a huge responsibility, because they’re guarding history’s most repulsive dictators in the dungeon—locked away forever, like radioactive waste. It’s just too bad that the two travelers have plans of their own. What follows is a wild ride through horror, pop culture, and madness. Because the real question isn’t: Does Dracula still exist? But rather: Is evil back? Who’s in the Oval Office today? Has hell moved?

An evening full of dark humor, body-swap chaos, and surprising twists, where suddenly nothing makes sense anymore. "Dracula”—biting, wild, and timely. And guaranteed not what you’d expect.
