Camille Saint-Saëns' Oratorio de Noël & traditional Christmas carols
On the 2nd weekend of Advent, the unique acoustics of the Friedrichstadtkirche in the French Cathedral will be filled with young, clear, highly professional voices that are rarely heard in the capital. For this year's Christmas concert, Camille Saint-Saëns' "Oratorio de Noël" is on the program, a simple Christmas oratorio in romantic beauty with solo arias, a small orchestra and chorales - performed by the professionals of the boys' choir.
Over the course of the evening, other traditional Christmas carols will be performed in a joyful atmosphere and the next generation of the boys' choir will gradually take to the stage.
