Festive trumpet sounds, jazzy American Christmas classics - YES - that's Christmas for many and Joo Kraus, Fola Dada and Daniel Stelter will perform this together in a tasteful interpretation. But - NO - the three of them wouldn't be themselves if they didn't go beyond that. There will also be lesser-known and not clichéd Christmas songs from jazz, gospel and pop. It will certainly be intimate and contemplative when the melody lines of the vocals, trumpet and guitar alternate, interweave and merge into a great warm feeling.
Three exceptional musicians who have come together for an exceptional evening. Three wonderful people whose awards (including Echo, German Jazz Award, Grammy nominations, etc.), successes (gold records) and collaborations (songwriting for Tina Turner, SWR Big Band, Klaus Doldinger feature, etc.) are almost somehow irrelevant. No matter, because they love the togetherness, the now and spending wonderful (musical) hours together. When does that fit better than now?
