Felix Fechenbach began fighting for social justice at the age of 17. Alongside Kurt Eisner, he triggered a revolution in Bavaria in 1918. During the Weimar Republic, Fechenbach became a renowned journalist, but also worked as a puppeteer and author. His fearless campaigning against Hitler in the small state of Lippe made him one of the Nazis' main enemies.

The production sheds light on the life story of this charismatic, now almost forgotten German-Jewish personality and uses it to question our times.
