And the DISTEL is there. In a grotesque revue the illustrious Bundestag personnel rushes from left to right that one becomes dizzy. New parliamentarians duel with old fogies, ghostwriters dance with ushers, horse-trading here, espionage there, and in the middle of it all, the first Bundestag debate poetry slam. A turbulent panopticon with guest appearances by Robert Habeck, Christian Lindner, Alice Weidel, Friedrich Merz, the ghost of Helmut Kohl and many more.
A look through the keyhole into the back room of power at last. How does it really go in the Bundestag? Is it corrupt? Is it amateurish? Confused, cumbersome, still equipped with fax machines? Yes, all that. But it's still one of the funniest parliaments we know.
