The way life in Berlin's neighborhoods - sometimes humorous, sometimes noisy - can be the worlds of life that collide everywhere and abruptly: Experience the lively "Neustachelschwein" Melanie Koschorz, the young father Sebastian Fischer (also new in the ensemble) as well as our youngster Henning Mayer when they pull the strings in the political kindergarten to let Trump, Merkel & Co. dance.
Can I or am I gentrified? Is a cop a dream job? If so, for whom? Who's 38STRICH7? Do kids have to go on strike? How could the SPD be helped to pass the 5% hurdle again? Which politician statements tomorrow are not already from yesterday, and what is the Queen actually looking for in the water?
The "Porcupine Ensemble" is investigating these and other current questions in their new programme "STACHELSCHEWEINEREI - Humour is when there is still a crash! Young ensemble with unrestrained joy of playing rushes through the current events!
With humor, bite and a pointed tongue, the three of them show where there's currently a crash. There is rapping, singing and... oh see for yourself!

The legendary cabaret theater Die Stachelschweine was founded in 1949 and is the oldest political cabaret in Berlin. Then as now, Die Stachelschweine stands for ensemble cabaret: political, unruly, critical, entertaining and with lots of music. Erich Kästner wrote in the Stachelschweine's guest book: "Dear Stachelschweine! Never let them shave you! The theater was completely renovated in 2019.
