Tempodrom, Möckernstraße 10, 10963 Berlin, Kreuzberg

Tickets 2for1 When: 16 March 2019

Unfortunately this offer is no longer valid.

This offer is already fully booked.

The successful series will be continued in 2019 - with 150 performers from choir and orchestra!

The fantasy novel series, which the successful TV series Game of Thrones is based on, already has music in its title: The Song of Ice and Fire. Because the novels are multilayered and composed like a symphony. Accordingly, the original film music by Ramin Djawadi combines everything that makes up the worldwide success of the television series Game of Thrones based on the original by the American writer George R.R. Martin on television: drama, passion, love, hatred, surprising twists and sometimes almost unbearable tension.

The gripping music also describes the vastness of the landscape, the shimmering cold, the smacking mud of a battlefield, the shimmering heat and of course the ecstatic stumbling of the main characters - sometimes out of raging love, sometimes out of blind hatred. Lies and shame, shame and triumph, farewell and innocence are congenially translated into music here. Ramin Djawadi has created music that stands for itself. He himself will not be present at the concerts.

This year, the successful series will again be performed on German stages in a concert with 150 performers in philharmonic orchestra and choir. All arrangements are written by Franz Bader, who already last year was very successful with his format and Game Music Live.
