On a cold winter's day, when the snow is particularly thick, Kai receives a visit from the Snow Queen. Her soulless coldness takes possession of his heart and she carries him off into her freezing cold realm. But the Snow Queen has not reckoned with the courageous Gerda, who leaves no stone unturned in her search for her beloved Kai.
