Theater Strahl Berlin: What is the weather like?

A presenter's desk and two cheerful presenters: Breakfast radio at its best. Justus and Natascha, the two friendly hosts of Radio HITW 100.6 FM, know how to entertain their listeners - but what is that? Every now and then, a radio station from Zimbabwe broadcasts on the German wave and surprises Justus and Natascha with inconvenient facts. While they are chatting about morning showers and coffee, the presenter duo from Zimbabwe report that not a drop of water has been coming out of the tap for three weeks...

Started as an international co-production with the theater ensemble IYASA from Zimbabwe, the premiere of the play took place in May 23 in Zimbabwe and in June 23 in Berlin. The further developed adaptations of this production will now be premiered in the respective countries. Conceived as a "radio show", Bulawayo and Berlin combine to create an emotional approach to a complex topic - boldly, but without being overwhelming. Optimistic, but with emphasis. In the end, one thing becomes crystal clear: climate change affects us all.
