Once upon a time there was a little girl. That often played at a brook. The grandfather had told her that the brook would flow into the sea after a long journey. The girl would have loved to see that. But her parents had no money to go to the sea. So the girl folded a little boat and put it into the water. She gave it a push and it slowly glided away. Then it disappeared behind a bend in the stream. She waved at the boat. It would make a long journey to the sea.

The Flying Theater is a puppet theater in Kreuzberg and offers family and evening performances, a program for daycare centers and schools, theater educational workshops, and guest performances by theater/dance/music groups. In its own productions, multimedia forms such as acting, figure and object theater, projections and live music are used. The theater has been awarded the IKARUS several times and enjoys great popularity.
