With their absolutely original retro piece Cirque Le Roux take you into a monochrome world where circus art, Hollywood film noir and physical theater meet.

Welcome to the luxurious estate of Miss Betty. Caught between her distraught husband, a gleeful best man, two stumbling butlers and a lecherous suitor, our hostess escapes from her wedding reception to a secluded smoking lounge. Cigars, whiskey, slapstick and impressive acrobatics intertwine to create a turbulent love intrigue. Hidden in the darkly decadent ambience, behind quarrels and false pretenses, is the unsaid - the proverbial elephant in the room in English - taking up more and more space...
With much wit and eccentricity, Cirque Le Roux skillfully combines storytelling with top-class acrobatics. In the process, the six artist:in explore the mysteries of love, friendship and the obvious truths we prefer to ignore.
Duration: 90 minutes plus intermission
Age recommendation: from 8 years
Language note: The production contains scenes in spoken language, thereby speak the Performer:innen a mixture of German and English. The plot is easy to understand even without language skills and is told with words as well as acrobatics and body-related humor.
