Cabaret that targets the brain and the heart - and gets under your skin!

Our everyday life: a perceived chaos and constant excessive demands. A different topic always conjures up the apocalypse: first the climate, then the pandemic, now the war. Caught between news feeds and timelines, our brains shimmy from focal point to focal point. The only way to relax is to turn off the sound for five minutes during Markus Lanz's power nap.

In addition, the job demands nerves, family and friends affection, and social media constant attention - before you know it, the work-life balance is screwed anyway. And that's already doubly shitty. Because we now know: The gut also influences thinking! So it's not only important what comes out the back, but also what arrives at the top.

In the daily conjured up end of the world we are often helplessly in the middle of it. Every second another prophet roars at us, "I know it! I not only own the truth, I own it!" Our brain, desperate for the meaning of life but constantly distracted by something screaming for attention, eventually reacts only with an escape instinct and automatically switches to wellness alarm: offline, time out, digital detox. The best way to do this is with power yoga and mindfulness exercises. Think nothing in 60 seconds.

Arguments, facts, logic? Are welcome! But only those of like-minded people in the self-built filter bubble. The one that is so comfortably furnished, and from which every glance out assures: Out there - is true rares.

Luise and Tobias are no different. Friends for decades and trapped in their two-person shared apartment, Luise now wants out of the hamster wheel and thus plunges everyone into chaos. Because does big change also apply to small things? And which foot should you start with? What does science say? What does gut feeling say? What the gut, the instinct? What does common sense say? And above all: What does Karl Lauterbach say? If it weren't for their neighbor Ruth, who really does have an answer for everything, Luise and Tobias would never know whether they could rely on their felt knowledge. Especially in these times, when everyday chaos takes things up a notch.

Info: DISTEL Kabarett-Theater

The prickly DISTEL entertains with pointed humor. It's teased, ridiculed, dissected, torn, hot off the press. Whether sketch, solo number, sarcastic song: with wittily witty programs, the DISTEL provides for famous pleasure. The richly-formed play is the trademark. First-class classical cabaret is offered at the nerve of the time! The proximity to the Reichstag and the Chancellery is an incentive to be the sharp "sting on the seat of government".

"Saving the world for beginners"... Quite worth seeing! Great implementation, entertaining story... However, the live music was sometimes louder than the vocals, which is why the lyrics could not always be understood.

"Weltretten für Anfänger"... Durchaus sehenswert! Tolle Umsetzung, kurzweilige Story... Allerdings war die Live-Musik teils lauter als der Gesang, weshalb der Text nicht immer verstanden werden konnte.
