Mischpoke takes its audience through the ups and downs of life: joy of playing, speed, wit and charm, but also melancholy and depth characterize the sound of Mischpoke. The klezmer band celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2020. There have been many exciting programs. A constant in all these years is the motto: "Klezmer High Life" The 5-piece Hamburg band masters all the nuances of klezmer music and mixes the traditional klezmer sounds with jazz, classical and world music, often very virtuosic. In this way, "old" sounds new and in the "new" you can hear the beautiful old melodies that leave no audience untouched. But also own compositions play for the first time a larger role in the program. Also in the current concert program " HEYMLAND" proves the Mischpoke once again their qualities as a first-class live band.
