The German Chamber Orchestra Berlin was founded in autumn 1989 in the spirit of German reunification. In the 30 years of its existence it has become an integral part of Berlin's music and cultural life. Today it is clearly rejuvenated and reflects the atmosphere of Berlin: musicians from the formerly divided city as well as international colleagues form an ensemble that is always enthusiastic about its commitment.
